Job Summary
Lead a software engineering team of 9 engineers (mentoring, evaluation, feedback, growth) and stay hands-on in C#/.NET while guiding architecture and delivery for backend services, API gateways, and Syslog export services within the ESET XDR platform. Balance ~70% technical work with ~30% leadership, drive design decisions with Product Owners and Scrum Master, improve CI/CD, observability, and production operations, and maintain code quality through reviews and debugging. Role is based in Brno with collaboration across Kraków and Bratislava; requires experience leading teams, strong C#/.NET and API/backend design experience, familiarity with distributed systems, CI/CD, containerized apps, and production troubleshooting; plus English proficiency. Nice-to-have: Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Jenkins, API gateways, messaging systems, Agile/Scrum experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a software engineering team
- Solid experience with C# and .NET development

- Understanding of distributed systems and software architecture principles
