Job Summary
Software Systems Integration Engineer - Level 5 responsible for translating customer needs into system test solutions within DoD space systems, directing the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, coordinating integrated testing activities, and evaluating test requirements to ensure complete coverage of technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive relevant experience, active TS/SCI clearance, Linux troubleshooting, experience with GIT Lab, and certification (Sec+). Preferred familiarity with Kubernetes and command-and-control software/hardware integration; onsite role based in Aurora, CO; relocation available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years with Master's; 8 years with PhD
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
- Experience with commercial off the shelf and custom software installation
- Understanding of and experience in investigating log files and software/infrastructure issues
- Ability to create a lightweight configuration management process
- Ability to troubleshoot in a Linux environment
- Experience with GIT Lab
- Must have Sec+ certification or equivalent prior to start
- Preferred qualifications: Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with command-and-control systems and software
- Experience integrating software and hardware
- Relocation assistance may be available
- Location: Aurora, CO onsite only
- Clearance required: SCI/TS with poly
- US Citizenship required for government positions
- Salary range: $161,000 - $241,400
