Job Summary
Software Systems Integration Engineer – Level 4: Synthesizes customer contractual needs into system test solutions within DoD/SCI environments; develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems; coordinates integrated testing activities; reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program; performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares system-level evaluations. Requires active DoD TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience (or 6 with a Master's, 4 with a PhD). On-site role based in Aurora, CO; relocation assistance may be available. Must have Linux troubleshooting, experience with GIT Lab, and Sec+ or equivalent prior to start; familiar with COTS and custom software installation; Kubernetes experience is preferred; experience with command-and-control systems and software and hardware integration is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD (additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Experience with commercial off-the-shelf and custom software installation
- Understanding of, and experience in, investigating log files and software/infrastructure issues
- Ability to create a lightweight configuration management process
- Ability to troubleshoot in a Linux environment
- Experience with GIT Lab
- Sec+ certification or equivalent prior to start
- Strong analytical and testing coordination skills
- Ability to develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Experience with Kubernetes (preferred)
- Experience with command-and-control systems and software (preferred)
- Experience integrating software and hardware (preferred)
