Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain data reports; write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures; analyze execution plans and index data for performance; dive into data architecture to assist application development; collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and resolve client-facing issues; requires Secret clearance and DoD/8570 IAT Level I certifications; remote capacity for DLA assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of relevant IT experience
- Secret level security clearance
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
- Deep, hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views (MS SQL Server or similar relational databases preferred)
- Ability to analyze execution plans, index data effectively and optimize slow-performing queries
- Strong data literacy with the ability to quickly learn complex data structures and tables to debug software issues
- A strong work ethic, excellent time management, and a track record of being a dependable, everyday team player
