Software System Designer II

Job Summary
Conduct system design activities, review detailed application components across diverse technology stacks, and ensure architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements. Investigate change requests to scope work, estimate timeframes, and determine system loads for infrastructure planning. Evaluate and assess risks to mitigate factors hindering architectural delivery, while implementing governance, standards, and metrics for monitoring. Enable the design and development of new systems that align with company strategies and solve complex business problems. Perform architectural analysis to support robust, scalable solutions and ensure team members understand system implications. This 12-month contract requires a Bachelors degree, expertise in .NET, Angular, Java, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, with proven experience in large-scale organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
- Seasoned experience in similar IT roles, with a focus in system design / architecture engineering
- Proven working experience in a large-scale organisation
- Seasoned experience with software development lifecycles
- Seasoned systems and/or software development experience
- Seasoned knowledge of software design and architecture
- understanding of cloud-based architectures, preferably in popular cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and high-performance systems
- Seasoned experience, judgment and drive to plan, make decisions and accomplish individual and team goals
- Seasoned experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Net, Angular, Android, Front-End, Integration Technologies(REST, SOAP),iOS, Java, Java (JEE/EJB), Kibana, Service-Oriented Architecture
- Project demand needs MAUI, .NET, Angular, SQL, JavaScript expertise
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
