Job Summary
Provide software help-desk support to clients of a construction-focused payroll software system; assist clients with questions regarding software use and with payroll processing; coordinate with internal departments to resolve payroll processing and reporting issues; track client issues in call-center software and maintain detailed records; communicate with internal teams about technical issues; maintain and expand expertise on software modules and industry factors; participate in a 2-4 week training program; present a professional image as a company representative; hybrid remote options after 6 months; strong emphasis on customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Payroll processing experience or involvement in a corporate payroll department is preferred
- Previous call center or customer service experience is preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team
- Ability to address complex situations independently while following established protocols
- Ability to provide top-level support to clients and associates
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with clients
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to keep detailed, timely, and accurate records
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of construction industry a plus
- Knowledge of basic accounting/general ledger principles a plus
