Job Summary
Own features end-to-end, from refinement through production delivery using C# and .NET microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service. Build and maintain scalable backend services, Angular UIs, and CI/CD pipelines while writing clean, testable code and executing test cases via Azure DevOps. Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and Datadog to manage health, and participate in primary on-call rotation for infrastructure and application layers. Resolve customer escalations directly without handoffs, collaborate across time zones in 2-week sprints, and leverage AI coding tools for accelerated development.
Required Qualifications
- Strong C# and .NET (8+) experience building production microservices at scale
- Solid grasp of CQRS, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems (Azure Service Bus or similar)
- Hands-on with NoSQL databases — Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or similar
- Experience with CI/CD tooling — Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Comfortable with containerization and orchestration — Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful .NET microservices development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong English communication skills — written and verbal (our team is distributed globally)
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously across time zones
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management — OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT
- Experience with Azure services beyond AKS (App Configuration, Key Vault, Service Bus)
- Exposure to OpenAPI spec authoring and API-first design
