Software Specialist

Job Summary
Software Specialist responsible for EMR administration and configuration across the clinic network, primarily managing Zenoti. Responsibilities include EMR settings, staff roles and permissions, form builds and templates, data migrations from legacy systems (e.g., Nextech, PatientNow, DrChrono, Meevo), onboarding new clinics, go-live support, and ongoing user training. Collaborative work with IT Support and clinic Operations to resolve EMR tickets, ensure data integrity and HIPAA compliance, and optimize workflows. Hybrid role based in Montréal with occasional travel to US clinic locations for go-lives, training, and site support. Requires experience with EMR systems, strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a distributed, multi-location environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on software administration or implementation experience
- Experience with at least one EMR/practice management system (Zenoti preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity mindset
- Excellent English communication
- Comfortable working in a distributed, multi-location organization
- Experience building digital forms and clinical intake workflows
- Experience managing data migrations between EMR platforms
- HIPAA familiarity (preferred)
- Direct Zenoti administration experience (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
