Job Summary
Develop a deep understanding of the software product and overall technology solution to bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams. Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering to create and improve software features that align with company strategy. Write structured, unambiguous product specifications to ensure the software team has a clear understanding of requirements. Work closely with the test team to verify that requirements are testable and will be executed effectively. Facilitate user story sessions and requirements workshops with cross-functional stakeholder groups. This role supports Oxford Nanopore's nanopore-based sensing technology for DNA/RNA sequencing and molecular analysis, enabling society-wide benefits through accessible biological insights.
Required Qualifications
- A technical background in engineering, a natural science, or computer science, or proven experience
- Ability to write requirements that are structured, unambiguous, and testable
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience organising information for maintainability and navigation
- Experience of working in regulated environments, especially medical devices
- Ability to facilitate user story sessions and requirements workshops with cross-functional stakeholder groups and technical team members
