Software Release Engineer (Release Manager)

Job Summary
Plan and execute the rollout of Avaloq products across test, integration, and production environments for European clients. Manage end-to-end release accountability, including scope validation, technical validation for Go Live, and creation of implementation plans and production cutover procedures. Handle software packaging, code merges, and log analysis for core and front platforms while collaborating with developers, project managers, and client stakeholders. Document best practices for release and DevOps management. Work a mid-shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM with weekend on-call availability for unscheduled hot fixes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering Degree
- Overall 7 years of experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Release Management
- 3-5 years of experience in Configuration Management
- Experience with Unix
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Artifactory
- Experience with Nexus
- Experience with Gerrit
- Experience with Bitbucket
- Experience with other source code management tools
- Know-how in analysing technical problems
- Know-how in automating recurring administrative activities
- Conflict resolution skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Experience in multi-cultural matrix teams
- Good written English
- Good spoken English
- Open to work in weekend/shifts
- Open to extended support beyond shifts unscheduled hot fix releases
- Mid shift schedule (3:00 PM upto 1:00 AM)
- On-call availability services
- Support on weekends during release Go Live
- Work in Makati (Metro Manila)
