Job Summary
Software Quality Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for API-based applications; work with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality; develop test plans, execute manual and automated tests, implement CI/CD pipelines, and perform performance/load testing; monitor deployments, report defects, and promote quality engineering practices (TDD, automation best practices). Requires strong experience with Java/Python/JavaScript, SQL Server and API testing tools, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress)
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL) and API testing tools
- Ability to work in an agile team and communicate test results clearly
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
