Job Summary
As a Software Quality Engineer, you will participate on agile teams as a test engineer, ensuring the entire team adopts a quality mindset and implements best practices to improve performance and deliver high-quality products. You will be responsible for providing input on user stories and designs, implementing automated and manual test cases, developing and executing test plans, and applying test methodologies to meet quality guidelines. Collaboration with project managers, software engineers, product owners, and architects will be key in solving business problems in an agile development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or related discipline
- A minimum of 2 or more years of professional experience in software development and/or automated testing
- Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational and teamwork skills with strong desire and ability to deliver results
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Java, C++, or C#
- Experience with XML, JavaScript
- Proven automation skills using a test automation tool (Selenium or Test Complete)
- Experience with Visual Studio's Web Performance and Load Test or a related performance testing tool
- Application performance testing
