Job Summary
Review project documentation to derive automated test scope and strategy for functional and API verification scripts. Create, update, and execute test scripts, SQL statements, and automated test data sets while coordinating testing across multiple environments. Assist DevOps with continuous integration and implement methods for streamlined automated testing. Contribute to project discussions on feasibility and testability, then present scripts that meet department strategies. Provide automated testing baselines, LOE estimates, and allocate tasks to the project plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer
- Expert knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and automated testing tools
- Experience in functional automated testing
- Experience in databases/SQL
- Familiar with Windows, UNIX and/or Linux environments
- Thrives working in a fast-paced web application development environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and providing process improvements
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred
- Experience in QA tool (preferably TestRail)
- Experience with programming- coding in either C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience in automated frameworks and metrics
- Experience in Data verification and reports testing, i.e. Jasper, Tableau
- Experience in DevOps and Test-Driven Development
- Experience testing in a Cloud environment, preferably AWS
- Certification in agile development methodology preferred
