Software Quality Engineer - Adobe Premiere Pro

Job Summary
Drive quality processes and ensure adequate test coverage of features for Adobe Premiere Pro audio workflows. Define test strategies for new features, determining manual and automated coverage, and conduct detailed testing on macOS and Windows across varying hardware configurations. Develop and manage test cases, scripts, and automated tests using TypeScript or Python, while writing clear, reproducible bug reports with logs and crash data. Verify fixes and perform regression testing before releases, engaging with customers to prioritize feature requests and quality issues. Collaborate with departments outside of Engineering to diagnose problems and provide product feedback on quality and usability.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or TV/Film/Media
- 3 years relevant practical experience in media or post-production
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere (or another non-linear editing application)
- Familiarity with video and audio tools
- Understanding of real-world editorial workflows and performance factors
- Genuine interest in audio workflows, applications and technology
- Curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies for software engineering and the technology industry
- Problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
- Good communication skills
