Job Summary
Software Quality Engineer to own end-to-end quality assurance for the Illustrator ecosystem. Responsibilities include manual testing and integration testing of desktop features, writing and maintaining testware (test cases, plans, reports), driving end-to-end testing, composing status reports, and gathering customer feedback to inform quality improvements. Requires 3-5 years in QE (or college diploma with equivalent experience), strong English communication, and ability to collaborate with development and support teams. The role emphasizes test planning, risk communication, and independent work with limited supervision in a Noida, India office.
Required Qualifications
- College Diploma or 3-5 years equivalent QE industry experience
- 3-5 yrs experience in Manual testing for a Product Company
- Experience in Integration testing for a Desktop Product
- Ability to devise a plan for exploratory testing and implement it
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Collaborate with development and other QE on test execution
- Write, maintain, and carry out testware (test cases, plans, reports, etc)
- Drive End to End testing of assigned features
- Compose periodic report on status of features under test
- Interact with Customers for Feedback on new features and hard to reproduce issues
- Works closely with Technical Support to gather customer feedback and ensure resolution
- Participates in customer engagement channels
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex and multi-faceted issues
- Estimates and schedules own work accurately and with little supervision
- Team Work: Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Preference for candidates with artistic bent of mind
