Job Summary
Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester at J5 Consulting — responsible for software compatibility testing across programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments; document program-, user-, and security documentation; act as an Agile Scrum Master; work with AWS and MS Azure cloud technologies; use Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, and orchestration tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform; administer Linux and scripting languages (Bash, Python); work with the full ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat); test JavaScript/HTML/CSS web interfaces. Must have US Citizenship and a Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. On-site position located in Chantilly or Herndon, VA, within the Washington Metropolitan Area, with local travel as needed. Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Active Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience with Agile Scrum Master
- Experience with AWS and MS Azure
- Experience with Jenkins, Github, Docker, and orchestration tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Experience with ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat)
- Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS web UIs
- Ability to perform software compatibility testing across programs, hardware, OS, or networks
- Ability to prepare program-, user-, and security documentation
- Travel to on-site locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area
