Job Summary
Software QA Specialist, Information Systems, focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Delta Controls’ corporate software systems through manual and automated testing. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts; executing tests; logging defects; documenting test results; and collaborating with developers to validate solutions. Emphasizes expanding test coverage, increasing test automation, identifying usability concerns, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, frameworks, and best practices. Requires experience with UI/API testing, automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress), programming in Python or Java, SQL, Git, and strong communication skills within an Agile/SDLC context. Work is Hybrid from Surrey, BC (Canada).
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited technology diploma program or an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- 3+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience.
