Job Summary
QA Engineer I focused on validating the accuracy, reliability, performance, and usability of SSRS reports and Tableau dashboards. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Owners and Developers to refine requirements and test criteria, designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for SSRS and Tableau, reconciling backend data with front-end outputs via SQL queries, validating KPIs and calculations, performing end-to-end data reconciliation, documenting defects and coordinating with developers and data teams for resolution, conducting thorough regression testing, validating report formatting across devices/browsers, testing report scheduling and data refresh processes, analyzing performance issues and recommending optimizations, and contributing to documentation to support traceability and knowledge sharing. Desired qualifications include experience with performance testing, Power BI exposure, Playwright automation with C#, and ISTQB certification. The role requires Nashville, TN location with hybrid remote options and no visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
- Hands-on experience testing SSRS reports and Tableau dashboards
- Experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and CI/CD integration
- Strong SQL skills for validating complex business logic and data validation
- Detail-oriented with focus on data accuracy and validation
- Experience validating data transformations and reporting outputs
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios
- Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams
- Initiative in process improvements and test automation
