Job Summary
Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test suites while creating project estimates and contributing to designs for new product functionality. Proactively identify challenges, risks, and mitigation strategies with Technical Leads. Run regression tests and perform full testing during the regression phase. Collaborate with cross-functional team members including back-end/front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and business analysts. Analyze failures to find root causes and follow up with the dev team for resolution. Utilize automated API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured, along with E2E testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress, and performance testing tools like JMeter.
Required Qualifications
- An investigative and analytical attitude while testing a product
- Experience with functional/non-functional testing & documenting the testing process
- Good understanding of SQA best practices & willingness to drive quality in a product
- Ability to analyze failures to find root cause & followup with the dev team for resolution
- Good understanding of automated API testing using Postman, REST Assured, etc.
- Competence in End-to-End (E2E) testing using tools like Selenium / Cypress etc.
- Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on work experience on a professional setup
- Strong personal and work ethic
