Software QA Analyst II

Job Summary
Design, execute, automate, and document tests across engineering products including web applications, CI/CD pipelines, databases (SSMS & Snowflake), AKS, and backend services (APIs, background jobs); build, maintain, and expand automated test suites using Selenium with Python and other automation tools; write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting; perform root-cause analysis to evaluate issue severity, scope, and validity; collaborate with engineering teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and regression coverage; requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of QA experience; remote-work capable for US-based applicants; healthcare data experience and HIPAA knowledge are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software QA experience (manual and automated)
- Practical experience with Selenium automation using Python
- Intermediate SQL proficiency for data validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare data, HIPAA, and data security best practices (preferred)
- Experience with Agile development environments and Jira (preferred)
- Prior startup or fast-growing technology company experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Application Insights or Prometheus (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software QA experience with demonstrated strength in both manual and automated testing
- Practical experience with Selenium automation using Python (or similar automation frameworks)
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL, including moderately complex queries for data validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment (remote-work capability)
