Job Summary
Monitor project risks, allocate resources, and adjust timelines to ensure delivery stays on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate between product management, engineering, and QA to align technical delivery with business goals while adhering to privacy and security standards. Lead software proposal teams to prepare work and cost proposals, and serve as Scrum Master by facilitating daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Establish communication channels with clients and stakeholders, manage external testing, and maintain a prioritized product backlog. This role requires strong Agile methodologies knowledge and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams toward task completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in software development, business, or environmental science
- 2+ years of previous project management experience
- 2+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
- Advanced knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) development lifecycle and cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, on budget, and within scope
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification (CSM); or ability to obtain certification within six months after hiring date
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities
