Job Summary
Support the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services for the SDV new vehicle intelligence platform. Participate in program management for GM Infotainment system development, working through the entire software life cycle from requirement definition to commercial product delivery. Manage software programs to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery within budget by coordinating local and global software teams and multiple Scrum groups. Drive and coordinate teams to reach milestones, manage changes and risks, and monitor QA activities while reporting status to management. Maintain program schedules using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies with Jira. Hybrid work policy: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote; must be able to report to local office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, QA Engineer, Technical Lead, or related role
- Master's degree in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and Three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer, QA Engineer, Technical Lead, or related role
- Three (3) years of experience with Software program management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Jira
- Three (3) years of experience with Embedded product software and validation testing
- Three (3) years of experience with Developing and deploying software products in global markets with virtual teams
- Three (3) years of experience with Developing for Android, QNX, Linux, and embedded systems
- Three (3) years of experience with Developing for automotive and portable consumer electronics
- Three (3) years of experience with Overseeing the entire software life cycle, including requirement definition, program planning, and final product delivery to market
- Hybrid Work Policy – 3 Day In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must Be Able to Report to Local Office
