Job Summary
Prioritize software capabilities and defects in coordination with Program Management for product increments and sprints. Review engineering designs, algorithms, and Systems Engineering concepts to provide technical direction to the development team. Define acceptance criteria for software updates and perform final verification of delivered code. Deliver technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership, offering courses of action, recommended courses of action, and impact analysis on performance and risks. Bridge communication between developers and leadership while reporting status and competing capabilities to the Integrated Fires Mission Command mission. Work onsite up to five days per week with an active Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
- Ability to work onsite up to 5 days per week, depending on client needs
- Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience
- Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
- Active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS
- Prior Product Owner of a SW development SCRUM team
