Job Summary
Develop embedded software for safety-critical avionics and medical instrument systems using C++, C#, or Python. Design and maintain real-time embedded platforms including I/O, BITE, driver, and BSP components for flight management, navigation, and synthetic vision cockpit displays. Apply object-oriented programming and Agile or Waterfall methodologies to support both commercial and defense clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering, significant avionics flight controls experience, and U.S. person status for export compliance.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization)
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience
- Significant Avionics Flight Controls software experience
- Strong object oriented language (C++, C#, Python, etc.) and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
- Embedded software experience
