Job Summary
Lead software teams and drive Agile delivery by designing front-end applications, backend services, and APIs while establishing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Translate business needs into technical solutions through collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps, and Design stakeholders. Analyze existing systems to recommend improvements in architecture, technologies, and design patterns, while troubleshooting complex issues and mentoring engineers to strengthen team capability. Requires a degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in technical leadership. Security clearance is required as part of the hiring process for these meaningful public sector digital initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field
- 6+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role
- Strong experience with C#
- Strong experience with Java
- Strong experience with TypeScript/Angular
- Strong experience with React or Next.js
- Good knowledge of software architecture
- Good knowledge of OOP
- Good knowledge of REST APIs
- Good knowledge of microservices
- Good knowledge of databases
- Good knowledge of SDLC practices
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD
