Job Summary
Build and maintain integrations between the public safety platform and third-party client systems using Java, Spring Boot, and modern integration platforms. Develop REST, SOAP, and GraphQL API workflows to enhance Records Management, Computer-Aided Dispatch, and Booking products with scalable, secure, and well-documented solutions. Write comprehensive tests, debug production issues, and contribute to automated build and deployment processes to improve engineering efficiency. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners to deliver robust integration solutions within an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Java and the Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot
- Experience designing and building integrations with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL
- Familiarity with database technologies and proficiency with SQL
- Experience with automated testing and Agile development methodologies
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build cooperative working relationships with teammates
- Upper-intermediate English level
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with React
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Experience with integration platforms such as Prismatic, Boomi, Workato, or similar tools
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and distributed systems
