Job Summary
Integrate, configure, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous environments while administering and monitoring Kubernetes clusters using Docker, Podman, and Ansible. Troubleshoot workload issues related to ingress, performance, networking, and storage; deploy and maintain Helm Charts with Git for source control. Leverage Linux CLI tools, Bash, and Python for scripting and automation within DevOps and Agile frameworks. Requires Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), and 8+ years of demonstrable integration experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
- five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work
- An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman
- Demonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.)
- Experience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible
- Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts
- Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus /Grafana
- Experience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience working in a DevOps environment that uses Agile principles and methodologies
- Experience with or willingness to learn development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.)
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
