Software Functional Test Manager

Job Summary
Lead software functional testing for power electronics projects including engine, transmission, inverter, and converter controllers, focusing on reusability across initiatives. Manage Cybersecurity, Boot, and SIL Testing competencies while driving team development through assessment, strategy, and continuous feedback. Establish and drive structured problem-solving and debugging techniques, including bench-level debugging, and interface with systems engineering to ensure requirements are analyzed prior to testing. Lead improvement of test architectures, automations, and test suites alongside strategic roadmaps, ensuring ASPICE-compliant process adherence and Agile execution with multisite teams. Track program KPIs, mitigate risks, and deliver internal and external customer goals through efficient scheduling and goal setting.
Required Qualifications
- 13 to 16 years of work experience in Power train and/or Inverter SW Development & Testing in automotive sector
- 6-8 years of Product development/Testing experience in Powertrain/Inverter or different product lines in Automotive
- Experience in Cybersecurity Concepts(ISO-21434), HSM, Boot Modules
- Experience in HIL & SIL Testing Scope in embedded automotive software validation
- Experience in leveraging AI & test automation frameworks
- Experience in Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Experience in developing competencies & bringing in efficiency
- Experience in managing group of highly motivated individuals
- Experience working with/in matrix project organization
- Experience in goal setting, performance evaluation, supporting career aspiration/development of team
- Coaching, mentoring, guiding team members towards excellence and efficiency
- B.E/BTech in Electrical / Electronics and communication / Automotive Electronics
Desired Qualifications
- PMP or Agile Certification is preferred
