Job Summary
Architect and lead the design, deployment, and delivery of high-performance, scalable software solutions using Golang, microservices, and cloud technologies. Set technical direction for cloud-native and on-prem IIoT security products, ensuring high availability and performance across distributed environments. Partner with Product, Security Architecture, and Cloud Platform teams to deliver customer-centric solutions while driving technical rigor through design reviews, code quality initiatives, and AI-powered development tools. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to software functionality, performance, and integration, and debug production failures across microservices. Maintain system-wide API contracts and implement secure software development lifecycles, leveraging deep expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, and IAM protocols. Stay abreast of industry trends and Go updates to continuously enhance development processes.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- Focus on Golang, cloud and security domains
- Degree in Computer Science (BE/BTech/MS/MCA or equivalent)
- Deep expertise in backend development using Golang
- Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code for distributed systems
- Extensive experience designing and operating services within public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of data storage solutions, including experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and efficient query optimization
- Deep technical expertise in implementing IAM and SSO protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2) for large-scale enterprise applications
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex, multi-service features and defining system-wide API contracts
- Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycles and modern security architecture
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex production issues, trace failures across microservices, and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Active use of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex) to improve debugging, test generation, and development speed
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience or understanding of networking and cybersecurity domains
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern quality assurance methodologies
- Experience with cloud-native deployment patterns
- Proficiency in using Python or other scripting languages for operational tooling and automation
