Job Summary
Develop, support, and enhance healthkit applications’ API layers, ensuring low-latency and high-availability. Responsibilities include creating reusable, testable code, implementing security measures, leveraging open-source frameworks, and acting as a mentor for developers. Requires proficiency in fullstack engineering, web/mobile interface design, backend code development with Rest Web Services, Java, Python, NodeJS, database management, and cloud deployment (AWS). Must also demonstrate experience in optimizing applications and implementing FHIR standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Engineering and 5 years of IT experience (or Master’s degree in Computers or Engineering and 3 years of IT experience)
- Experience with fullstack engineering
- Experience creating intuitive web and mobile interfaces and interaction layers
- Experience designing and developing user interfaces, graphics, mock-ups, and layouts for web-based and mobile-based applications
- Experience developing web applications and components
- Experience designing and developing application backend code using Rest Web Services , Java , Python and NodeJS
- Experience building scalable and secure applications
- Experience troubleshooting security issues
- Experience designing database schema and managing MongoDB and SQL databases
- Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms including AWS
- Experience monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Experience optimizing resource utilization
- Experience orchestrating applications using Kubernetes
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience implementing applications using FHIR standards
- Experience developing and validating applications leveraging AI agents and models
