Job Summary
Lead high-performing engineering teams by recruiting, hiring, and managing workforce planning to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions aligned with organizational strategy. Define clear visions and measurable outcomes, hold regular staff meetings, and coordinate logistics across upstream and downstream partners to improve delivery flow and reduce bottlenecks. Monitor impediments, drive process improvements, and manage post-production support and incident response coordination while enforcing ISO 9001 standards and software engineering best practices. Contribute to portfolio planning, assess risks with Service Owners, and lead horizontal efforts to enhance platform maturity and engineering effectiveness across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing Software Engineers or other technical professionals
- 5+ years of people management or technical leadership experience
- 5+ years of software development, software delivery, or related IT experience
- Experience with modern engineering practices
- Experience with cloud-based environments
- Experience with cross-functional product delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading projects and teams in a software development environment
- Experience with planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery coordination
- Experience leading and managing individuals
- Experience with hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development
- Experience managing production environments
- Experience with incident response
- Experience with service reliability
- Experience with post-release support processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements

- 4-year degree in computer science or other related field of study
- Equivalent professional IT leadership experience
