Job Summary
Software Engineering Manager leading a team of engineers responsible for delivery, operations, quality, and modernization of core Resupply platform capabilities. Own delivery outcomes, roadmaps, release readiness, service health, and continuous improvement. Partner with product, architecture, security, and operations to influence technical direction, improve observability, and drive secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Emphasizes AI-enabled workflows and modern engineering practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and developer productivity. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years leading teams; strong background in cloud-native architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and AWS/Microsoft technologies; capable of balancing speed, quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience building and operating production systems
- 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing software engineering teams
- Strong technical foundation in architecture, system design, API design, and distributed systems
- Experience designing, delivering, and operating cloud-native applications in any major cloud provider
- Experience with Microsoft development technologies, including .NET and .NET Core, and ASP.NET
- Experience leading teams with CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and modern deployment practices
- Experience with production operations, observability, incident response, and continuous improvement practices for service reliability
- Ability to work across product, architecture, security, operations, and peer engineering teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
