Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop multiple software engineering teams through regular one-on-ones, performance feedback, and mentorship while fostering a collaborative culture focused on accountability and high-quality delivery. Manage priorities, balance customer needs with technical debt, and coordinate release planning, OKRs, and operational readiness to ensure successful product execution. Partner with Product, UX, QA, Support, and CloudOps to align priorities, manage dependencies, and lead technical response efforts for production issues and customer-impacting incidents. Define architectural direction, establish engineering standards, and champion the adoption of AI-assisted software development across planning, coding, testing, and troubleshooting. Drive delivery execution by supporting hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession planning to build scalable teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership or management responsibilities across multiple engineering teams or workstreams
- Proven experience coaching engineers, developing high-performing teams, and managing performance and career growth
- Experience delivering enterprise software products with active customers, production support responsibilities, and regular release cycles
- Strong background in software architecture, scalable application design, legacy modernization, and secure software development
- Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and modern web application architecture
- Experience with component-based UI development, Blazor, .NET MAUI, design systems, and shared component libraries
- Experience with AWS or other cloud-hosted environments, deployment automation, monitoring, observability, and Azure DevOps or similar development tools
- Experience collaborating with Product, UX, QA, Support, CloudOps, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience leading engineering transformation initiatives and driving adoption of modern software development practices
