Job Summary
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects by setting timelines, allocating resources, and tracking progress against milestones. Provide technical guidance to the team, resolve complex issues, and champion AI engineering across the SDLC to drive efficiency. Conduct code reviews, improve system reliability, and ensure compliance with security protocols and quality standards. Lead and mentor developers, manage recruitment and training, and foster collaboration across product, QA, and operations. Communicate requirements and status to stakeholders while mitigating project risks and staying current with emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years in leadership role
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
- Proven experience with C#, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Proven experience with Azure cloud architecture (App Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and related services)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
