Job Summary
Software Engineering Manager leading a team of software engineers and architects across firmware, drivers, operating systems, applications, and platforms. Drive design, development, validation, debugging, and optimization of software across multiple layers of the technology stack; set objectives, goals, and accountability; collaborate with hardware engineering and product management to align software with Intel's strategic objectives; mentor and develop talent, foster an inclusive, high-performing team, and engage with customers to understand needs and drive product improvements. Requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and deep technical expertise in systems software, GPU/graphics software, AI/ML, and cloud/distributed systems. Will oversee execution, resource management, and delivery of complex software products through the full development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics
- 20+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of direct people-management experience
- Proven experience delivering complex software products through the full development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, validation, release, and support)
- Strong technical depth in Systems software, Firmware, GPU/graphics software, AI/ML software, Cloud or distributed systems
