Job Summary
Lead the Dealing Journeys squad by co-owning the product roadmap, defining clear outcomes, and making data-informed trade-offs across value, effort, and risk. Drive technical decision-making by setting engineering standards, guiding architecture for React and React Native applications, and establishing guardrails for scope, quality, and non-functional requirements. Forecast delivery using capacity and flow metrics, communicate timelines and risks transparently, and champion observability to ensure system health and SLOs are actively managed. Grow and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and hiring while removing blockers to maintain a sustainable, predictable delivery cadence. Partner with Tech Leads on system design for distributed environments and bridge engineering with business needs to deliver seamless client journeys.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building full‐stack applications
- 2+ years leading engineering teams
- Strong technical background across frontend, mobile, and backend systems
- Experience with React
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with modern API-driven architectures
- Solid experience with AWS
- Experience with cloud-native platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Focus on scalability, resilience, and distributed systems
- Good understanding of full‐stack architecture
- Understanding of API design and integration
- Understanding of performance optimisation
- Understanding of security
- Understanding of microservice or event-driven patterns
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with modern development workflows
- Experience with observability practices
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, complex or regulated environments
