Job Summary
Software Engineering Manager with expertise in AWS and cloud-native technologies will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the public website, SSO, and enterprise platform applications. Lead and manage a team of engineers, contribute hands-on when needed, and drive on-time, in-budget delivery. Responsibilities include architecting solutions using AWS services (EKS, IAM, S3, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB), leading web applications with Java, SQL, and frontend tech in agile (Scrum/Kanban), guiding DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning and deployment, implementing monitoring and alerting, and leading 24/7 on-call rotations. Strong leadership, communication with stakeholders, and a commitment to quality and reliability are required. The role offers hybrid work (3 days onsite), relocation assistance, base salary plus bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package; US-based with relocation if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- 3+ years’ experience with AWS services (e.g., EKS, IAM, S3, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB)
- 3+ years’ experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours as needed
