Job Summary
Lead and mentor a high-performing software engineering team focused on modernizing mainframe development with DevOps/CI-CD tooling. Oversee end-to-end delivery of enterprise software solutions, drive modernization of pipelines and SCM integrations, collaborate across Product Management, Architecture, QA, and UX to translate customer needs into technical deliverables, and promote Agile/Scrum practices. Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and automated testing. Requires 12+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in management, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Technical foundation expected in Java, TypeScript, C, or modern web frameworks, and strong familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools. Nice-to-have: experience with mainframe technologies (z/OS) and SCM systems, and a passion for Developer Experience (DevEx). Broadcom is an equal opportunity employer.”,
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of overall professional experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience directly managing software development teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong background in software engineering (e.g., Java, TypeScript, C, or modern web frameworks)
- Deep familiarity with modern DevOps/CI-CD workflows (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of product management collaboration and agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
