Software Engineering Lead

Lead role to design, build, and maintain software across the full SDLC, collaborating with teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, reliable systems while mentoring engineers and promoting best practices. Responsibilities include developing, testing, reviewing, and maintaining software; contributing to design, refactoring, and high-quality code; performing peer code reviews and ensuring thorough testing; mentoring engineers, driving best practices, and supporting product delivery; engaging stakeholders and driving innovation (e.g., GenAI adoption). Technical focus includes cloud technologies (AWS and/or GCP), API gateway experience (e.g., Apigee), Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Terraform, Helm, and proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js, plus GitHub and CI/CD tools. Experience with large-scale data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), TDD, testing frameworks, and effective communication across teams is required. The role also emphasizes leadership capabilities such as mentoring, delegation, and stakeholder management.
