Job Summary
Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade software systems for data & analytics platforms in a hybrid Montreal-based environment. Drive cloud data, reporting, and analytics solutions (e.g., Snowflake), champion GenAI/LLM tooling, provide technical leadership to a high-performing team, collaborate with stakeholders to define strategy, and uphold modern SDLC practices (CI/CD, automated testing, agile). Requires 10+ years in software engineering with strong full-stack capabilities (Java/Python, Angular/React), cloud experience, data pipelines, and data engineering expertise. Montreal-based role with hybrid work arrangement; bilingual French/English knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering
- substantial data-platform experience
- deep full-stack expertise (Java and/or Python, Angular and/or React)
- proven experience building and scaling enterprise applications in cloud environments
- strong hands-on data engineering: SQL, data modelling, ETL, scalable pipelines
- experience leveraging GenAI, LLMs, or Copilot-style tools for software development, automation, reporting, or analytics
- ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship
