Job Summary
Software Engineering Intern – Embedded Software/Vehicle Controls: implement and validate embedded software for vehicle systems (battery and energy management, DC/DC controls, fault detection), develop features for low/high voltage systems, design scalable embedded architectures, contribute to automated testing (Unit, SIL, HIL), and collaborate with systems/test engineers across multiple domains. Internship tracks include Embedded Software, Controls Test & Automation, Thermal Controls, Systems Engineering, Charging, and Technical Program Management; program runs Sept 21 – Dec 18 in Palo Alto, CA or Irvine, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field at a US university with intent to return to school after internship.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python.
