Software Engineering Intern - Factory AI and Automation

Job Summary
Develop, test, and maintain MES applications, automation workflows, and internal digital tools that enable smart manufacturing operations. Assist with coding, debugging, unit testing, deployment support, and technical documentation for factory AI and automation solutions. Apply AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to improve software delivery and documentation efficiency. Contribute to practical AI, GenAI, data analytics, computer vision, or workflow automation use cases that enhance manufacturing efficiency and operational decision-making. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to address operational pain points and deliver scalable, user-focused digital improvements. Located in Wuxi, China, with no travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree candidates are preferred
- Basic programming experience in C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or other common programming languages used for enterprise or factory application development
- Good English communication skills, including the ability to read technical documents and communicate in basic written and spoken English
- Good communication skills, a responsible attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to real factory business problems
- Location: Wuxi, China
