Job Summary
Champion appropriate AI usage at SEL by listening, educating, and answering support questions while documenting best practices. Explore AI and data integration with M365 Copilot, Fabric, Work IQ, Copilot Studio, Foundry, Azure, and local services. Experiment with new Microsoft Frontier features, configure M365 agents, and collaborate with internal customers on MCP server requirements. Understand security and regulatory requirements surrounding AI tools and harnesses. Research regulatory frameworks for AI deployment and apply SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Required Qualifications
- Current student pursuing a degree in MIS, computer science, information systems, data analytics, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to all audiences
- Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies
- Experience with programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, or similar
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies
- Must be able to work part-time during the academic year and full-time during the summer
- Must be available for Pullman, WA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with coursework, personal projects, labs, or hackathons involving AI, data analysis, or automation
- Experience teaching or speaking in front of groups on technical topics
