Job Summary
Lead architectural direction and provide technical mentorship across multiple cross-functional teams of full-stack engineers for AutoScout24's AutoSync suite in Canada. Drive product delivery through defined requirements, scalable solution architectures, and actionable engineering work, while spearheading AI-driven efficiency improvements, site reliability engineering practices, meaningful monitoring, and data quality across domains. Collaborate to translate business strategy into engineering initiatives, foster innovative practices, and ensure alignment with company objectives. Bring a proactive approach to adopting AI tools, deliver high-performing, highly scalable web applications, and cultivate an inclusive, transparent engineering culture with strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role blends hands-on contribution with strategic leadership to shape the engineering organization and deliver measurable impact across Canadian and European mobility platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering technical leadership experience
- Proven experience integrating AI-driven solutions into daily work
- Strong experience building highly scalable web based applications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management (AWS preferred) and modern software architecture patterns
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience fostering inclusive team cultures that embrace diverse perspectives and working styles
- Data-driven decision-making abilities balanced with empathetic leadership
