Job Summary
Translate business requirements into Agile epics and stories while designing solutions that adhere to application architecture. Collaborate with developers and team leads to improve technical skills, scope projects, and estimate resource needs. Stabilize delivery schedules to align with regulatory commitments and perform L4 production support, diagnosing complex system issues and executing remediation within the daily critical processing window. Develop root cause analyses, mitigation plans, and strategic solutions to keep the team on track for quality code delivery. Manage prioritization of business demands and resource conflicts to ensure projects meet user requirements and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
- 8 years of experience as a hands-on resource in full life-cycle software development
- 5 years of software development experience within the financial servicing industry
- Demonstrated solid ability with Java
- Oracle PL/SQL
- messaging and queuing technologies
- Solid knowledge and skills in GUI development with Java
- Oracle databases back-end
- Demonstrated ability to provide problem resolution under pressure of client contractual and regulatory deadlines
- Demonstrated solid collaboration skills, working with multiple teams in various global locations in an agile environment
- Demonstrated solid communication skills
