Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions supporting IMSWest remediation initiatives, focusing on application modernization, technical debt reduction, and platform improvement. Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement remediation solutions addressing audit findings, control gaps, and operational risks. Participate in root-cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and on-call support for critical incident response. Perform code reviews, develop automated tests, and support CI/CD pipeline adoption while collaborating with global teams to deliver business requirements and improve system reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Java and object-oriented design
- Experience with REST APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, and modern development tools
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or mission-critical enterprise applications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or monitoring platforms
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation frameworks
- Understanding of operational controls, application support, and production environments
