Job Summary
Lead a high-performing engineering organization delivering enterprise-grade, high-performance object and block storage products for the Hyperscale Line of Business. Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering talent, from strategic hiring to cultivating psychological safety and rapid innovation. Oversee architectural health and resilience of core data services, including cloud mobility and high-availability distributed systems, while mentoring senior engineers to foster quality-first innovation. Manage high-impact release roadmaps by optimizing agile workflows to balance feature velocity with technical debt and enterprise stability. Serve as the primary conduit between Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering to translate customer requirements into actionable technical milestones. Debug complex root-cause investigations across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years managing software engineering teams
- 8+ years total in software development
- Deep technical proficiency in architecting and shipping large-scale enterprise software
- Strong familiarity with Golang
- Strong familiarity with object/block storage protocols
- Strong familiarity with microservices architectures
- Strong familiarity with distributed systems
- Strong familiarity with cloud-native platforms
- Demonstrated mastery of lean/agile software development
- Demonstrated mastery of CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated mastery of automated testing
- Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders—from Product Management to customer beta partners—to shape production-ready software solutions
- Must be able to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Everpure's policies
