Job Summary
Develop and maintain simple to moderately complex software programs and scripts under the guidance of a Software Engineer. Coordinate with the Software Engineer to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation; develop and implement systems from signed-off documents; respond to issues referred by team members; align with security standards; provide regular updates to the Applications Development Manager; undertake relevant duties as determined by Lead/Senior Software Engineer; learn new development methodologies; escalate issues promptly; evaluate operational risks and opportunities, applying risk-thinking to daily decisions and delivery against plans; familiarity with JavaScript, Python, SDLC, and software development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Some relevant work experience
