Job Summary
Design, develop, and support software products while writing, reviewing code, and planning tests using high-level languages. Provide consultation, training, and application support by resolving complex helpdesk tickets and customer issues. Lead software test procedures across open/closed loop simulators, desktop environments, and virtualization platforms, then review reports and debug compilation errors. Develop test plans, maintain problem databases, and execute corrective actions based on change requests. Analyze metrics using Six Sigma tools and participate in cross-functional reviews to drive process improvements. Manage independent decision-making, budget tracking, and program scheduling while adhering to safety policies and confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
- user- knowledge of at least one high- language currently used on projects
- Uses Windows or UNIX operating systems interface
- Leads software test procedures using open and closed loop simulators, desktop simulators, machine virtualization and other test platforms
- analyzes data using Six Sigma tools
