Job Summary
AI Cloud Architect role at Salesforce to shape how agentic systems are built, deployed, and scaled within the Agentforce platform. Responsibilities include inventing and incubating new execution models, leading incubation projects for enterprise agentic systems, shaping core platform decisions, contributing to the product lifecycle from proof-of-concept to production, and partnering with strategic customers to translate complex agent capabilities into trustworthy outcomes. Requires deep expertise in distributed systems, agent orchestration, LLM-based architectures, and strong communication skills to produce design docs and customer-facing content.
Required Qualifications
- Technical depth in distributed systems, stateful runtimes, and LLM-based agent architectures
- Experience building orchestration frameworks, graph-based execution engines, or agent DSLs
- Strong grasp of LLM behavior, context management, and agent reliability in production
- Fluency in Python and Java; comfortable with cloud-native infra
- Curiosity about and familiarity with frontier agentic research — reasoning loops, tool use, memory architectures, and multi-agent systems
- Builder track record — shipped durable technical artifacts (platforms, frameworks, or open-source projects)
- Comfortable going from early-stage experiment to prototype to GA in fast-moving environments
- Experience with incubation, 0→1 projects, or founding engineer environments is a strong plus
- Communication and customer instincts — ability to speak to developers, enterprise architects, and CIOs with credibility
- Experience engaging enterprise customers as a trusted technical advisor
- Collaboration and influence — drives alignment across engineering, product, and field
